Dear
Seeker Of Truth,
The
purpose of Islaam "In Peace and To submit" is to submit to Allah "The
One and Only God" in all
of your life. It
is to follow the divine teachings and guidance about what is to be done
here on earth. It
gives you understanding on how ALLAh works in your life. With your SOUL, you have
knowledge of ALLAh within you. This is why we are to "Meditate deeply within yourself morning
and evening with reverence and don't neglect.(7:205-207)" It is so we can be aware of what is. My job
in communicating with you is to add to the knowledge and love for ALLAh
and his
creations. This and more is in your heart and mind.
We all
have a purpose in life. ALLAh said that is:"I created Man and Jinn
"Fire beings" only so that
they serve me." (51:57) With your SOUL & BODY you can serve him,
one bit at a time. We are commanded to learn every day of our lives.
Reading more and more of his word AL QooRAAN and of the way the prophet
and others
followed the religion. There are so many ways, one will work for you.
We are required to be kind and just and show our love to ALLAh by not
only acts of worship, but
also with selfless charity, justice, kindness, tolerance and more.
Always try and do you best, but if you don't remember "ALLAh
forgives all sins he is Most Forgiving, All Merciful. Turn yourselves
to your
Lord and submit yourselves to him."(39:54&55) and "No one can bear
another's burden..even if it be a kinsman."(35:19) So on our own
we must "..Truely repent afterwards and make amends."(16:120) We enjoin the good and forbid the
evil, doing all the good we can and avoid all the evil we can. For it says "Whoever did the
smallest amount of good will see it!!! Also whoever has done the
smallest
amount of evil will
see it!"(99:7&8) We will be rewarded for all will do like it says
in 6:161
Remember
to take it slow and be moderate because Islaam is a religion without
extremism in any
form. Remember it says in the QooRAAN that ALLAh loves not extremism.
Strength of any type takes
time and wanting to do all at once overwhelms almost all. After all
this is a natural religion. Take your time make it easy. With daily practice of prayer and
other acts of divine service one will get better at it, and you'll find your past vices
easier to avoid. Awareness,
relaxation, patience and more is yours if you want it. After all we do
pray: "Lord grant
us good in this world and reward in the herafter". The ultimate of this
is HEAVEN ON EARTH and a PARADISICAL AFTERLIFE. So go for
it.
ASSALAAM ALAYKooM
"Peace be Upon You"
